A compulsory annual $40.00 Music Participation Fee per elementary school student is payable to Sheldon-Williams Area Music Program (SWAMP) at the beginning of the school year. This fee is used for clinics, workshops and festival entry fees.
Students will also pay an annual transportation fee of $80.00 to cover the cost of bussing to Sheldon, and that fee will be posted to school cash online.
The Sheldon Area Band Program is comprised of the six associate schools (Argyle, Crescents, Harbour Landing, Connaught, Ethel Milliken and Lakeview) and contains the following ensembles:

- Grade 6 Yellow Band and Grade 6 Red Band-first year players
- Grade 7 Band-second year players
- Grade 8 Band-third year players
- Elementary Jazz Band
The Elementary Band is comprised of more than 250 students under the direction of Ms. Lindsay Stennes and Ms. Deborah Skoczylas.
