EXPECTATIONS and EVALUATION
Music is a performance art that relies on the combined efforts of many musicians. Student attendance at all rehearsals, concerts and tours is vital to the success of the group as a whole.

Students absent due to illness or special circumstances are required to provide the instructor with a note from a parent/guardian preferably in advance of or at the first rehearsal upon their return.

Students are expected to be on time for rehearsals. Arriving late disrupts the learning environment for all members.

Any Band/Choir member with five unexcused absences will be ineligible for the music department annual tour.
